About the creator
I’m a simple dude.
French.
Working in Asia.
Studied Engineering.
Always been too creative.
Over the years, through work, events, and meeting people from very different backgrounds, I started questioning something that kept coming back: purpose.
Why we create. Why we play. Why we gather.
Why are we here?
Simple Dood started as a reflection on those questions.
It’s not here to give answers.
It’s here to help players, readers, and spectators look at things differently — and maybe think a bit larger than usual.

What is Simple Dood?
Simple Dood is an IP that tells a single, evolving story across different formats.
Each format explores the same universe from a different angle. Some are playable. Some are narrative. Some are still only ideas.
For now, the universe exists only as a TCG (Trading Card Game).
The first piece: a Trading Card Game
The Simple Dood Trading Card Game is the starting point of the project and the first introduction of the IP.
It is:
- Easy to learn and setup: Open a booster, you’re now ready to play!
- Designed for real social play: scales with the number of player.
The main story is structured into five episodes. Each episode will be unlocked only when both conditions are fullfilled:
- the community has explored the discovered the story of the previous episode: nothing is told but there will be elements to put together and a discord channel to discuss themn with the community
- and a minimum of six months has passed between releases: give me some time to plan the production/scale and adjust “difficulty” of the next episode
There is no shortcut.
Episodes and progression
Episode I — Creation
The foundation of the universe.
It introduces the rules, the tone, and the first layer of meaning behind the game.
Each new episode:
- expands the story: while purposely untold, there will be a confirmation/recap of the previous episode’s story when releasing a new one
- introduces new cards: Episode I contains 35 base card.
- and adds new mechanics to the TCG
Some future mechanics (from Episodes II and IV) already exist as prototypes and can be playtested.
If you’re curious, you can reach out directly to the creator.
What comes next?
Other formats will exist in the future.
Or they may not.
Simple Dood is intentionally built without promises, deadlines, or hype-driven guarantees. What matters is the journey — and who takes part in it. If you’re here early, you’re already part of the story.
